| Course Title | Flying Start Program |
|---|---|
| Course Overview | The Flying Start Program has been designed to help people who are seventeen years of age and over embark on a course of study which will take their level of education to the equivalent of Year 10. It provides opportunities for career enhancement and personal and academic development. We intend that the courses should meet the needs of all who choose to join the program and for this reason the content and teaching styles are student-focussed in their approach. Above all, the courses are designed to be rewarding and enjoyable as many students will choose a Flying Start course simply for the pleasure of accepting an academic challenge and developing new skills. Successful completion of Flying Start, with a combination of subjects which demonstrate both literacy and numeracy, ensures entry to TAFE for courses requiring year 10, and entrance to the Armed Forces. |
