Counsellors

Tim and Tess

Our friendly and confidential counsellors provide support services to students at Canning College. Talk to a counsellor in Student Services to discuss:

  • career options and information for future education and training plans
  • needs related to Canning College courses
  • achieving success in your studies
  • personal concerns, illness or family circumstances affecting opportunities to succeed at Canning College
  • linking to specialised support services external to Canning College
  • any of the many things that can hinder your opportunity to do your best at study and in life.

Student counsellors are also available in the Library Learning Centre a couple of days a week to offer career, learning and personal support. You don’t need to make an appointment, simply pop in and have a chat. The counsellors are happy to discuss whatever you need to talk about including career interests, learning skills to improve study technique, ways to keep yourself motivated, identifying your goals and assistance in achieving what you want from Canning College.

Why not contact the College to organise an informal meeting now? Arrange a time with Student Services’ Reception on 9458 9644. Face-to-face and phone appointments are available Monday to Friday.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
